Photo story - Countries put a spotlight on lung health on World No Tobacco Day

During the 2019 WNTD campaign, countries took the opportunity to raise awareness about the negative impact of tobacco on people’s lung health. Activities included a flash mob, a mobile clinic for measuring lung function, press conferences, quizzes and cessation tips, and an open-air yoga event. In the WHO European Region, 90% of lung cancers could be avoided by eliminating tobacco use.
