Six tins resembling ballot boxes have been set up at a beach in Qinhuangdao, North China's Hebei province, for people to dispose of cigarette butts by voting for their favorite teams at this year's World Cup in Russia.

A government worker said the names of the tins could be changed, and after the World Cup could be changed to favorite places in the city to motivate citizens and visitors to continue to dispose of cigarette butts this way.
