Ramadan brings you a golden opportunity to stop smoking for good. If you are capable of not smoking from the dawn to the sunset, it means that the Tobacco is something you can overtake by your own strength, will and ambition.

Studies showed that a smoker in Bangladesh would have to spend 5.5% of the national median income to purchase 10 of the cheapest cigarettes to smoke each day. If you are a smoker, this means you are left with less money for your children’s education, for better food or for medical expenses.

More than money though, think that the best present you can bring to your family for this year’s Eid ul-Fitr is your decision to quit smoking, and to live a healthier life.

Use of tobacco increases the chances of falling ill and die prematurely.

By the time you are ready to break your fast, the carbon monoxide level in your blood drops to normal. Carbon monoxide is poison, do not let the poison level build up in your blood again! Do not resume smoking after breaking the fast! It is a life time decision with benefits on short and long term, both for you and for your beloved ones.
