- Guidance on novel coronavirus (COVID-19) prevention and control as compiled by Chinese experts was made public by Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University on Wednesday evening.
The "Fudan Zhongshan Guidance" expounds on overall deployment and control measures alongside specific initiatives practiced by Zhongshan Hospital itself.
In the fight against COVID-19, Zhongshan Hospital was among the first batch to send experts to Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital, a designated facility receiving patients infected by the virus. Later, it also supplied medical workers to other Wuhan hospitals.
The guidance was mainly compiled by Song Yuanlin, professor in respiratory medicine, Zhu Duming, professor in critical care, and Zhang Yuxia professor in nursing.
It has been translated into English, Spanish, French and other languages and placed on the official website of Zhongshan Hospital.
