The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) has set up 141 COVID-19 testing centers for mass testing. They will begin operating from Tuesday (Sep 1) and aim to complete testing in no more than two weeks in an effort to bring the severe epidemic situation under control, the government said on Friday.

Appointments for testing can be made online from Saturday and will be open for seven days, subject to extension as appropriate. About 6,000 medical workers are involved in the nucleic acid testing work.
