Shanghai smoking ban a success

"Someone is smoking in the restaurant!"

Shanghai Municipal Food and Drug Administration customer service hot line 12331 received over 91 calls from citizens over the week-long Spring Festival holiday by and about customers seen smoking in restaurants, accounting for 85.5 percent of all food consumption complaints. This high number symbolizes the support that the city's new smoking ban has among local residents, Shanghai Morning Post reported Thursday.
